We started our Cornell journey in 2006 when we were awarded the contract to open Manndible Cafe in Mann Library. Proudly, we created this unusual sustainable eatery resourcing fresh local foods. We had absolutely no idea what to expect but we were determined to create a very special place. Fortunately we had the opportunity to have been awarded another contract to open our sister cafe - The Fork and Gavel Kitchen with a large on-site kitchen to cook. There has to be a madness, love and passion to consider juggling two cafes. Oh no make that now three cafes. But we couldn't say no, and here we are, much happier crafting local diverse options for all types of hungry palates.
We get to work with a tremendous team. Our Staff make this all possible- from cooking the food, washing the pots, pouring espresso donned with latte art, rolling burritos, and providing welcoming and efficient hospitality.
Working with fabulous people and feeding the Cornell community gives us a deep sense of satisfaction.
Thank you so much for visiting,
Pam Gueldner and Kathleen Pasetty
